Since 1980, Frontier Community Services has been committed to providing high-quality, customized residential and community support services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities living in Southern Ohio.

Centered in Chillicothe, Ohio, with offices also in Washington Courthouse and Waverly, Frontier Community Services provides a variety of support services including:

Individual Options (IO) Waiver
Level One Waiver
Transitions Developmental Disabilities (TDD) Waiver

Medical & Non-Medical Transportation
Remote Monitoring Back-up Support

Supports are based on the needs and desires of each person. Supports may include:

Personal care assistance
Assistance with medication administration for prescribed medications
Assisting with or performing health care activities
Household homemaking supports
Assisting with or performing health care activities
Promote a safe & healthy environment
Community access for recreation, leisure, personal errands, and appointments
Encouraging positive outcomes through individually desired supports such as: money management, cooking and dietary needs, household tasks, community activities, and personal safety

Frontier is available to support people in a variety of settings including:

Licensed homes, apartments, leased homes, as well as living with family members.
Residential and community supports are carried out by well-trained staff who undergo monthly continuing education.
On-call staff, managers, and RNs are available 24-hours a day, 7-days a week to respond in case of emergencies.
