Frontier Community Services (Frontier) is developing the Cross Creek Subdivision (Cross Creek) located in Union Township in Ross County, Ohio. The program is open to individuals and families. Buyers at Cross Creek must meet the following criteria:

Have steady income from one or more sources of employment, Social Security, pensions, or child support. The minimum income for the homeownership program is $24,000. Income limits for 2014:
$500: down-payment (paid at the time the contract is signed)
$2,000: closing costs
First year’s homeowners insurance paid before closing

Have a minimum credit score of 640 with:

No open collection accounts
-
No late pays in the last 6 months
-
No bankruptcies in the last 3 years
For those not currently meeting the above credit requirements, Frontier offers free credit and budget counseling.

Must complete 12 hours of Homebuyer Education Classes. Classes are sponsored by Frontier and taught by Frontier staff and local professionals. (Classes are free.)
All homes sold at Cross Creek have a financing package that is second-to-none in the state of Ohio.

Down-payment assistance, from the Ohio Housing Trust Fund, in an amount up to $40,000 per home (final amount is determined prior to sale) depending on financial need.

Interest rates as low as 1%.
Buyers who purchase one of our affordable homes
receive a new, 3-bedroom home with:

Cable/phone hookups in all bedrooms and living room
