For Immediate Release: Ross County to receive new family housing in 2015

Frontier Community Services and LW Associates have broken ground on Cross Creek Meadows II, the second phase of an accessible and enhanced community that continually enriches the lives of local families located in Union Township of Ross County.

“We are proud to partner with LW Associates as this community will help to meet the increasing need for affordable housing in Ross County, while providing much more than just a quality place to live,” said Rod Siddons, Chief Development Officer of Frontier Community Services. “A groundbreaking represents a commitment to the future and promise of tomorrow. We are excited to expand the reach of services for families through the Cross Creek Meadows Community.”

Cross Creek Meadows II, located in Union Township in Ross County, Ohio will provide 40 family units in phase II of this community. Each will feature an open floor plan and include three-bedrooms, two-bathrooms and an attached 1.5 car garage. To encourage recreational activities and social interaction, amenities will include a community building, shelter house with grill, access to the Ross County walking and bicycle path, community garden, playground, shade trees and accessible pathways. Funding sources include the Ohio Housing Finance Agency, the State Board of Developmental Disabilities and the Ross County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
