Happy Direct Support Professionals (DSP) Week! (September 12-18, 2021)

We celebrate our TEAM every single day, but this week has been officially declared "Direct Support Professionals Week" by Governor Mike DeWine & Lieutenant Governor Jon Husted! The DSP week acknowledgment is a win for all of us because we are all Frontier CommUNITY Services, and every single person matters in fulfilling our mission!

Did you know that we have an Ohio Alliance of Direct Support Professionals (OADSP) organization that advocates on our behalf for issues that matter like pay, training, and best practices for our field? Our DSP Code of Ethics come from them: https://www.oadsp.org/

There is also a National Alliance of Direct Support Professionals (NADSP) whose mission is: "To elevate the status of direct support professionals by improving practice standards, promoting system reform, and advancing their knowledge, skills and values." https://nadsp.org/
