Frontier Community Services (Frontier) is a community-based, nonprofit housing development organization.

Frontier participates in community economic development activities that help revitalize neighborhoods through the creation of quality, affordable housing. When it comes to developing affordable rental housing, we are a leading nonprofit organization in Ohio. We have extensive experience developing new rental units as well as rehabilitating existing structures.

Affordable housing rental properties developed through Frontier are located throughout Ohio. We have over 1,850 units in our rental portfolio, and that means that every day, individuals and families have a safe, decent, and affordable place to call home. We work closely with development partners and property management companies and maintain partnerships with multiple equity sources to support our mission of developing affordable rental housing for seniors and families in the community. These partnerships help facilitate new development, strengthens local businesses, and creates jobs within the companies and communities we serve.

Our organization has received many awards since we started our work in housing development in 1994, and we intend to continue our good work for many years to come. Every community we develop is built with those we serve in mind—our goal is to build communities where people want to live. We strive to integrate our developments into the fabric of the communities where we are located. Through our service and partnerships, our intention is to make our communities better places for all of us to live.
